What does it mean to be a member of the Design Forward Alliance?
The Design Forward Alliance mission is to unify efforts that promote the value of professional design and design-thinking for better outcomes in business, education, government and the San Diego community. Being a member means supporting Alliance objectives including adoption by the business community of design-driven innovation; increased design opportunities in San Diego; more effective transportation infrastructure; and government service through a people-first lens. It also means opportunities to expand professional networks, collaborate with other DFA members, and to find as well as offer, invaluable mentorship and expertise.
How long does membership last?
One calendar year. Membership fees paid during the remainder of 2018 will cover membership through the end of 2019. Beginning January 1, 2019, membership terms will begin with the member’s purchase date and be valid for 365 days.
What are the various types of membership?
Paid membership is available to Organizations and to Individuals. Non-profit organizations may wish to consider an alternative way to get involved through the Alliance Partnership. Alliance Partners must be approved by the Board.
